It's a shame they didn't reveal the mystery Clan, oh well.

Still, Clan Ventrue are rather cool too. If I wasn't going to play Clan Tremere for my first playthrough I definitely would choose them :D

I hoped it's Lasombra tho, it feels almost boring to play the same clans as Bloodline 1.
If they sell me Malkavian, Gangrel and Nosferatu as DLCs, not sure I'll ever buy them

Thinking next and final clan will be Malkavian, definitely.

Free-DLC Clans will probably be Lasombra and Gangrel. I doubt Nosferatu will make an appearance due to the fact you choose to become one, and well, who would wanna be a nosferatu by choice?

In-universe? Almost no one, but all that means is that it can't be an in-universe decision.

The player can still make a choice and the devs could find some way to justify it.

Why is anyone surprised by this? The order of the clan pictures on the main Bloodlines 2 site clearly showed Ventrue were next.

The last clan reveal is a 50/50 shot at either Malkavians or Nosferatu. Absolutely no other chance of any clans besides those two, based on the picture (which is either an asylum or underground Seattle). The rest will have to be post-release.

I think people tend to forget that many Nosferatu are very damaged before the embrace (how many homeless/desperate people have you seen, who are perfectly sane?), and are driven even deeper into insanity by the pain of their particular transformation. To say nothing of living in sewers or other undesirable places, for decades or centuries at a time; that can't improve anyone's disposition.

Many Nosferatu, I'd wager, are just as nuts as Malkavians. They just don't have the Madness Network and the reputation. If a Nossie talks to himself in the sewers, or names his favorite rats, who's around to notice? As the clan book says, the Camarilla only works with the most sociable/coherent representatives of the Nosferatu. No one from the surface sees the other kinds.

See now, why the idea of trying to make the clans more "distinct" from each other is total BS? There are 13 clans in the PnP game, and only a handful of them have actually unique disciplines. Most of the others have powers that cross over with each other. And when you try to make a game that prevents cross overs, you have effectively gutted most of the available options!

Quite frankly, implementing the 7 clans from the first game will already make it difficult to squeeze in any others, because of how many common disciplines are being changed to signature ones.

Not sure how it's BS, seeing as they've managed it so far and can still do it with Gangrel, Nosferatu and Malk. So they can't do all 13. So what? It was never stated they were going to try.

To be fair Tremere was right in the middle and they were the second Clan revealed.

The devs haven't been going in order.

That's a fair point, but it's still true that unlike Malkavian mental illness isn't inevitable.

So if I had to choose between the two clans I'd prefer Nosferatu, I'm psychologically stable enough that I feel that it's plausible that I could survive the ordeal with a reasonably healthy psychological state.
