It is his choice yes, but this kind of acts feed the community clash type like "my clan is better than yours" and that is realy dumb

its stupid because you are not buying a game that could be absolutely amazing purely because a clan you like isn't available at launch.

A real fan of VTM would play the game regardless of whether their favourite clan was playable or not, its a lil bit childish to not get a game you want over something as tiny as that

let the guy skip the game, it's not like it affects us, plus he has a point sorta- by the time he gets around to buying it they'll probably have more clans and more options. it's a win for him and its a win for all of us, unless he sits here and complains about it for the next year lol

I have to disagree.

I'm not especially impressed by their decision to make a thread about it but preferring one Clan strongly enough to consider its absence a deal breaker isn't being a "fake fan". That's just ridiculous gatekeeping.

It's not childish to know what you like, especially considering that he didn't insult the Devs or doing anything disruptive or uncalled for like that.

Lol true, i wasnt offensive and I dont know why venting my opinion in the forums is childish. Its exactly because im a diehard nossie player that im skipping buying day one, crazy that a basic clan is out

I'm not buying it either, since I can't be me (Gangrel). Will wait for the DLC and see if they get added through it/free update. Or even a mod, since the game is moddable. Plus without knowledge on the game so far (no gameplay or DLC descriptions) I refuse to get it. I need to see it in action first. Never preorder. South Park was right. Got burned by Far Cry 5 and Dead Island. Never again.

I am a huge Malkavian fan but i was really suprised they did not put nosferatu in for the opener,I don't blame you for passing but even me being malk freak iam rolling Tremere for the opener.cheers!

I bought injustice 1-2 because of "The Flash" if malkavs wasn't even in the game i would refund my bloodmoon edition.

Yes! This thinblood approach to the story they are trying to tell seems to be hurting how open the choices are going to be. Something that would make me hop in the hypetrain again would be an entirely different playtrough for nossies where we can play as a camarilla harpy making schemes and watching the main thin blood story unfold from a different view while explaining mysterious stuff that would have happened in the main story as the nosferatu doing you guys feel me? But all of that seems like distant dreams to me and i feel sooo let down for a classic original clan not being there...

I really don't think this is true.

The devs haven't said that choosing to be a Thinblood is why we can't choose Clan Nosferatu.

It's not a hard problem to overcome, just make it a player choice and have the character have no choice in story.
