Paradox should sell VTM to the CD Projekt Red.
Clumsy combat, stupid AI, Facial animations stiff, HORRIBLE feeding animation, very robotic, NPCs model clones (Why are NPCs clones if the game has few NPCs?), Important NPCs just stand around waiting like statues instead of being immersed in their environments..
Bonus: 11:13 Woman with man voice?

I WAITED 15 YEARS!
If you are not able to make a VTM well done, then sell it for CD Projekt! :steamsad:

It was clumsy because of gamepad, not anything else.

AI is never smart in most games.

Facial animations do need work.

Feeding animation was absolutely fine.

I don't know what you're complaining about. If you understood how the development process works, then you would know that... and to quote myself in another thread:

I wouldn't worry too much. Remember this is still early in development and polishing is usually done just before the testing phases.

I don't think immersive sims should be scripted so hard especially if they are so intent on first person only. As much as my little fan girl heart would love to see CDPR take on VMB I don't think it would ever happen. But again I hope they aren't bull shotting us and what we saw was the pre-alpha because it's rough. I'm going to wait hard on that pre-order.

The player was godawful, I see no reason to assume that the combat is that clunky in the hands of an actually skilled player.

Facial animation needs work but we knew that already.

Selling it to CDPR is just dumb, that's not going to happen. It's also extremely preemptive.

I will just ask one question;

what made Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines great?

CD Projekt Red? God no. From Witcher 1 to 3 the Npcs were boring & repetitive, the combat only came in 3 flavors, the voice acting was borderline robotic and very few choices in those games had any serious repercussions. That's not saying the Witcher series doesn't give a good tale, but its not all that.

I'll introduce you to Cyberpunk 2077
Tons of NPCs without repetition
The streets in Bloodlines have few NPCs, There is no reason to have so many NPCs repeated. This is lazy! :steamfacepalm:

I wouldn't put all those eggs in one basket yet, Cyberpunk 2077 isn't out yet and they've been plagued with very similar issues Anthem had. (as a junkie for cyberpunk genre I hope they pull through without cutting corners like reducing NPCs and graphics) We will have time to compare once it comes out before VMB2. But Witcher 3 is the closest we can compare right now.

Witcher 3 also received a pretty big downgrade so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Almost as if CDPR has significantly more funding then HSL...

You're being ridiculous. There are legitimate issues that can and should be addressed but this is not one of them.

The animation itself was fine. Show me a game that never ever has clipping of models through other models or scenery.

Sound doesn't bother me.

So pathetic when a game has several flaws and some people insist on defending.
That's why some companies like Bethesda make bugged and outdated games these days. :steamfacepalm:
