I listed Dementation as a possibility as the powers have equivilents: Haunt to Nightmare's Monstrous Countenance (NWoD) and Berserk to Animalism's Drawing out the Beast. Just some fun speculation.
Yeah but the game isn't based on the NWoD. The NWoD, as i'm sure you know, has been put aside for a revitilization of the OWoD. And V5 and the overall clans they've named are all OWoD.
I'd really like to see some Chronicles of Darkness RPG. As i found the concept of more basic/broader clan, which got more depth by the addition of Bloodlines a bit more appealing than the more detailed a (imo) bit less customizable clans of V5 and the old game.
@LotR[Henchman] Yeah, I know it's not NWoD. If only. :) I'd like to see Chronicles too! Going to OWoD seems like a step back from what I thought their strategy was, but it seems to be going well for them w/LA by Night and V5 winning mega awards. I'm excited for the Werewolf game in dev too! So glad they're keeping WoD alive!
@GrandMajora Tell me about it with the books. I may have spent some money I was supposed to spend on college textbooks to fill out my lore . . . I wasn't going to get good grades anyway. At least w/V5 we're in early--only 3 books so far. Hopefully I can keep up. Or, maybe, hopefully I can't!
But that's what I LIKED about playing Nos- it was super hard mode. You had to slink around the sewers, be hidden all the time etc- it was fun!
I feel like there should have been stronger warning about choosing Nosferatu as a first playthrough. It can get tedious if you don't already kind of know the layout of the cities.
Mokolés would also have an opinion on this.
@GrandMajora Ha! Now I want to see a video of an otter eating an alligator but I'm afraid . . .
I wonder if anyone in any VtM/VtR game has ever ghouled one? Or an orca!
They both give me warm, fuzzy feelings, so you're wrong.
;P
