The only World of Darkness books I have are V20 and C20 core books.

All my other books are from Chronicles of Darkness, and three of those are 1st edition.

Point is, I'm way behind on the current mechanical systems of the game.

I'm the opposite i only own v5, V20 is like $200 from America not including 60 on postage.

You can order the books off DriveThruRPG at varying prices, depending on the quality of the book you want. Or, you can take the cheapest option and just download the PDF for like 30 bucks.

Sadly, it seems like all the editions outside of V5 are now Print on Demand, meaning you have to personally order a copy, rather than finding it in stores.

The PDF is a digital version of the book. Not only that, but you can download it instantly, instead of waiting 2 weeks or whatever to have it delivered by mail.

As I understand it, the PDF's are saved to your account. So if you lose the download, you can just sign in and re-download it again in the future.

I really can't do pdfs.. i find them very hard to read on digital media.

If you could flip the color (white text on a black background, rather than black text on a white background) it would make it easier on the eyes.

As one blogger said regarding why they use light gray text on a black background, reading in the traditional black text/white background on a computer monitor is like staring at a lightbulb.

I dunno . . . now that they revealed the last faction (Newcomers) I have a deep and creeping fear that they made the Nossies a faction to avoid making them a playable clan. Please, no . . .

That was my first thought as well.. The devs seem to hate the "ugly" aspect of Vampire the masquerade.

Hey, they made the Tremere a faction, as well as a playable clan!

I'm hoping the reason for them not being included at launch is because they're working out an alternative route to completing the story. Since being a Nosferatu, you probably won't have most of the same opportunities available.

Tremere still look normal though. None of the more wild factions of VtM ever get added.

I understand that but as a physical dev creating Vampires type thing they would be far easier than Nossies, Tzimisce or even Gangrel.. They don't fit the "beautiful Vampire cliche"

Ha! Good one, wise man. In the V5 errata they downgraded (or is it ugraded?) the Nosferatu from having the Revolting Flaw to having the Repulsive Flaw, so there's that. Watching video now.

I said it before but i actually prefer this games version of nossies over the baked potato nosferatu in Bloodlines 1.
