Solo MP Ironman, Started in colony, Moved to AoD and this was the grand finale

Full disclosure - have this games in gog aswell and been playing for awhile now but wanted to support devs #TeamVince

Played AoD back when it was just Teron and Dungeon Rats when int meant % not sp but gave it a looong break and came back when Colony was due.
/insert *Just when i thought I was out, They pulled me back in* meme.

Wanted to share the anguish of this ordeal so that other ppl can benefit for the future

Ironically this is was first time trying this build but it worked so..

I would imagine 4/10/10/4/10/2 would be better but hey, it worked.

also tried 4/10/10/10/4/2 which was decent tbh but rough

Tried Spear (solid) Axe (meh) and Sword (nope)
out of these Dagger was a clear winner, why? - one word *Whirlwind*
It crits like a mofo and bleeds like my wallet on xmas.
Dunno if its a bug or a feature but yeah - awesome
I even did whirl on singles just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles

Dodge vs block -
For me dodge (once u understand placement and fire bombs) is superior.

General tips:
1. Finish the game on non ironman first with the same final build, make save points at different fights so when go wet u know what to do -
I had the game running on steam and gog at the same time sometimes just to not ♥♥♥♥ it up.
2. SAVE THEM SUPPLIES - don't waste bombs, acids, and fire for nothing. ALL fights until the enforcer can be won without them.
3. BOLAS - u get 1 (i think), use to choke the emperor, don't waste it on losers.
4. Placements - always try to force that river of enemies into a single file, use liquid fire to create temporary walls to channel them grunts.
5. USE SHIELD WITH DODGE - unless u need to feint, it helps with ranged attacks.
6. Defense > Offense: if u got 30sp and u think if to put it in dagger or dodge, go dodge
7. Aimed attacks: go legs -> hands , Torso for heavy armor. Arterial strike is kinda gimmicky i think.
8. Poison - there is allot of it, don't be cheap with it. u can craft a dagger early on that gives 7 poison for 10 hits.
9. Mechs are a pain Mech fight > Emperor use acid and fire.
10. Dont do worms early on. its bait - also they give the best armor ingame for dodge imho save it for emperor / mechs since u cant repair it too much
11. Some times u just have ♥♥♥♥ luck, don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

Game mechanics that can be abit hidden:
Armor penalty doesn't stack
Health pots stops bleeding
u can aim Bolas (NECK!! Go for NECK!!)

After finishing Colony - AoD - Rats (in this order) recently i can safely rank them as
(all played on hardest difficulty)

Colony - Very easy
AoD - Normal
Rats - ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill me
