Keyboard/mouse not working

I can toggle fullscreen/windowed from the keyboard, with Alt-Enter, but that's it. No other key or combination I have tried (modified by shift, control and alt) has had any apparent effect.

The mouse seems to be completely ignored.

I can use a controller to move the cube, but since I can't do anything else other than toggling window/fullscreen mode, I can't do anything interesting (you can only play level zero a few times before you want something more). Only the secondary analogue stick on the controller seems to have any effect; none of the buttons seem to do anything.
