Differences between games in the series?
Ok, so I see that there is 8-bit armies, hordes, and invaders. What is the main differences between these games, other than setting? It seems armies is modern, hordes is fantasy, and invaders is sci-fi.

So, other than that do they sort of play the same? Is out down to preference of settign which I should pick?

I also posted this on the boards of the other 2 games.

pretty much prefence although the invaders have slightly different resource gathering technique which require less micro/strat and make it easier to spam

and the game have slightly different amounts of missions but that shouldn't matter too much

Yeah, mission amount doesn't bother me.

I've decided to go with armies and hordes for now, as that's what I can afford, and I prefer their theme.

Thanks.

Speaking of which, I've read that when owning multiple games in the series, you have access to the factions and maps of all the games you own, in all three games. Is this correct? If so, how do I go about making them overlap like that?

the single player doesnt overlap so say if u want to played the hordes campaign u would have to switch over to that game however, in multiplayer/skirmish once u join a lobby you can choose which faction, each game adds 2 for a total of six, u can still play against players regardless of which faction or game

Ok, thanks.

Would I need both games installed at the same time to access the 4 factions between them for multi?

8 Bit army's = Command and Conquer universe
8 Bit Hordes = Blizzard's Warcraft 2
8 Bit Invaders = Blizzards Starcraft

And all those games are UNIQUE
