I often lose at least 2 or 3 matches in a row while playing in bronze ranks with decks that can progress to at least silver ranks. I don't think that's statistically unexpected. I sometimes win two in a row too, though that may be less noticeable (especially since I often stop after the first daily win).
If you're relatively new to the game I'd recommend trying Expedition rather than Throne ranked, if you aren't already. Since Throne draws on a much deeper selection of cards. Many of which are either not important or cheap to forge, but some of which are neither...
...Just a note, there's no AI involved in Ranked play.
Yes, variance exists. Even the "best" deck can have bad draws and the "worst" decks can have good draws. Building your deck better isnt about always having the perfect draw and winning every game, if that was possible card games would be boring. Instead it is about having the highest chance of drawing good cards and about having the highest possible chance to do stuff that beats the other good decks in the format.
So yes, building a better deck wont just win you every game, but it makes the chance of winning games higher.
You do you, but it'd almost certainly make it easier to get a low-level competitive deck.
When I started with Eternal in beta, I was hoping there would be no such thing as one turn combos ... but as seen yesterday at the Stormbreak Open, I had false hopes.
I don't understand the meta either.
Last month I played a rally queen deck to Masters, but this month I haven't had any success.
On Saturday I played a cheap discard aggro deck from Diamond 3 to Masters within 5 hours.
Krull is in the market, but I didn't even need the card.
Although I've always hated them, I am amazed that there are no more constant aggro decks. It can't be possible that an OTK deck wins a tournament.
Where are the control decks and I don't mean the ones where only relics are played. Where are the sword decks?
The game was just much better than there were clearly recognizable and distinguishable archetypes.
This is the list I played:

Whatever that is supposed to mean. If you mean Krull now, let me tell you that this card does not automatically mean a victory.
That you lose is more likely because you are playing the wrong deck for the meta and you do not know the decks of your opponents.
This deck helps you to quickly put pressure on your opponent and to discard his hand. So that you don't have to pay too much attention to the matchup.
Still, you have to play it right. And let me tell you, I also had to learn it first. It makes a difference which person is playing the same deck.
Everyone loses, I was often close to the next rank and then lose 3 in a row.
If you play against the same decks often, you will learn better how to beat them
Relax listen to music and enjoy the game.
Basically, it helps with such a discussion to know which decklist you are currently trying.
Sorry, but this conversation is getting nowhere
