The End and the Beginning
Is there any way to beat The End and the Beginning campaign, and also is there any point apart from bragging rights?

I can see in my history that I completed it, but I don't remember what cards or deck I used. There are some cards you can only get by completing campaigns.

You get predetermined cards and the battle is in 2 stages, and I keep getting my ass kicked in the second stage. I think it's similar to the puzzles, and it's frustrating to think I'll have to do it over and over because I played the cards in the wrong order.

There's an in-game achievement for beating it as I recall. Think it's ~1000 gold as the reward.
Saw your thread a little late, but it made me play that campaign part again just to remember how it's done and I won with the first try :eternal_time:

The AI obviously cheats in the second part with its OP card calling in three strangers per turn for free and is impossible to beat the regular way.

The solution is just to survive long enough until you draw your own OP card The Eternal Throne which ends the game instantly.
I needed to survive until I had 52 cards left in my deck but I guess it's kind of randomized.

I can vaguely remember that my first win many months ago took quite a few tries and was quite frustrating... not the best campaign design here to be honest.
Too much frustration potential for a small reward... but that's card games for you :emofdr:

Thanks for the reply, it's good to know the aim is to survive, not win. I'll give it another go when I'm feeling very very patient.
