Stuck on Log-In Screen

So, I downloaded and played this game yesterday. Really liked it. Went to log in today and... I can't! Correct log-in information, I checked it a bunch of times. Nothing happens. I get no error messages saying I have incorrect log-in information, I get nothing. The only button that seems to work on the log-in screen is "Quit"... :( Anyone else ever have this happen?

Hmm, we thought we addressed this in this week's hotfix, but looks like it's still happening for a few folks. Things that have worked for other folks (would try these in this order):

Rebooting computer
Restarting Steam
Reinstalling Steam

If you remain stuck, let us know.

ok game started after like 20 mins of waiting, but now its very laggy

I had something similar to this happen to me where the application launched and it just kinda sat on the initial Dire Wolf splash screen. I think it may have launched the game before logging me into steam completely. A steam reset fixed it.

Can't login...

I verified my login/email through the website.

I've still cannot login (I tried two different machines, one Mac, one Windows). It says "Connecting." then "Authenticating..." then about 20 seconds later I get the error message.

FYI, the error message is "Error while Logging in. Try again later."

I figured it out. My http proxy was somehow interfering. I couldn't tell which domain I needed to unblock so I disabled it. Please ask your engineers which domains should be unblocked.
