Gauntlet is still worth farming even after you hit Master's though. In fact, it's THE best way to farm gold since they nerfed the win-rewards for ranked ladder. At Master's Gauntlet, you basically want to be playing aggro decks to farm it. If you keep each match under 3.5 minutes, and average 4.5 wins per run you can make like 1250+ gold per hour. Argenport Aggro, Rakano Aggro, and Stonescar Aggro are the best aggro decks for it, IMO.
Basically, you should get your free pack and do your quests in ranked everyday. Once you hit the soft-cap(when you start getting only bronze chests as rewards. This resets everyday.) you should then switch over to Gauntlet and farm that instead of ranked. Mix in Drafts whenever you have the gold for it, and then when you have most of the current sets you can start to save for the next expansion. If you can, make sure to hit Master's in ranked ladder each season, as that will net you some nice rewards. If you can hit Masters in draft as well then that's good too, but it's quite a bit harder to do than ranked ladder so don't feel too bad if you don't hit it every season.
