This update introduces a live AI Difficulty Slider, major strategic upgrades to our fair-play CPU opponents, message-aware Dynamic Card Sizing, tactile rounded UI styling, and an expanded Players & Scores display!

• Adjustable Anytime: Set your preferred CPU challenge level from 0% to 100% (Easy, Normal,
Challenging, Hard, and Master) either in the Match Setup screen or live during a match using the new slider right below the left-side scoreboard.

• Scaled Tactical Depth: Lower settings offer a relaxed, casual game with human-like variance, while higher tiers unlock full low-card conservation, tactical pile harvesting, and multi-step Swoop checkmate chains.

• Low-Card Conservation & Splitting: CPU players now protect valuable low cards (Ace, 2, 3, 4) in the early and mid-game instead of burning them on high discard piles and can split single copies to uncover face-down tableau cards while keeping trumps in reserve.

• Tactical Low-Card Harvesting: On higher difficulties, CPUs can voluntarily pick up small, low-point piles loaded with Aces, 2s, or 4-of-a-kind completions rather than wasting a trump or Swoop card.

• Ladder Discipline & Post-Mystery Chaining: CPUs step down the rank ladder methodically to avoid
stranding high cards (J, Q, K), chain matching ranks in hand after a successful mystery flip and detect 2-play Swoop-to-win checkmate sequences—all with zero peeking at face-down cards.

• Message-Aware Dynamic Card Sizing: Cards now scale smoothly with your screen's resolution, aspect ratio, and hand count while automatically reserving clear vertical corridors for turn notifications, Swoop banners, and AI commentary bubbles.

• Rounded Bordered Buttons & Panels: All buttons and HUD panels across the game board, Match Setup, and Wardrobe now feature smooth anti-aliased rounded corners, subtle depth shading, and crisp borders.

• Expanded Players & Scores Panel: The left-side scoreboard now displays each player's Personality
in parentheses alongside Cards Remaining, Total Score, and persistent Games Won.

We’ve just rolled out a new update for APEX Swoop: Card Game on Windows and macOS, bringing full support for the upcoming Halloween Spooky Pack DLC alongside major visual and UI clarity improvements at the card table!

• 55-Card Illustrated Halloween Spooky Deck: Added full support for the bespoke Halloween card face set—every card from 2 through Ace across all four suits, plus both Jokers, features custom gothic-cartoon Halloween artwork and high-contrast corner indices.

• Living Idle Card Animations: Special Halloween cards now animate right in your hand and on the table, including the floating Ghost Joker, blinking Vampire Jack, cauldron-stirring Witch Queen, and candle-flickering Spooky Pumpkin Patch card back.

• Cosmetics & Wardrobe Integration: Preview, equip, or mix-and-match the Halloween deck, Spooky Halloween Night table felt, and Bat Swarm Swoop FX directly from the in-game Wardrobe menu.

• Pop-Up Selected Card Lift: Cards selected for play now pop noticeably upward out of your hand or table row and scale up with front sorting priority so you can immediately spot your queued play.

• Glowing Selection Frame & Contrast Dimming: Selected cards now display a pulsing Electric Gold / Neon Cyan outer halo and top badge while keeping 100% crisp card face brightness, and unselected playable cards gently dim while a selection is active.

• Unified Remaining Card Counts: Simplified player board labels (`Your Cards (X)` and `(Cards: X)`) to
always show each player's total remaining cards (hand + face-up + mystery cards), matching the left scoreboard and eliminating confusing sp[c]it hand counts[/c]

• Always-Accessible Exit & End Game Controls: Fixed an issue where modal overlays could dim or block the top-right Exit Game button.

• Quick Match Setup Access: Added a dedicated ✕ EXIT GAME button inside the Match Setup header, and End Game / Setup button on the Round Summary screen, and Escape key support to close the Wardrobe or toggle the Match Setup menu at any time.
