Gold version mods worked?

Hello, I just bought gold dlc for this game, I wonder if anyone is working on some mods and upgradings to the game as gold version lets to modify much as it is said in description. I'm still to play this game just wonder how it is currently and will be usable?

First, I don't own the Steam version, I do have the 1.12 version, however, from the dev's website. The dev, I will add, has been most gracious when ever I needed his assistance for updates. Which is why I have "gifted" this gem to a friend of mine.

Editing ( modding ) the text files in the DB folder is super easy.
I have edited them to change the % of land types in "Mapchances", adjusted unit placement per my likings in "unitplacingdistances", increased the hit points for each unit to make the battles last longer, & even adjusted the age limits to a minimum of 18 & a maximum-minimum of 70.
All the units data can be modded to ones preferences,. Outside of the DB folder, I am not sure how much more one can do.
