Renaming Option
I know that I can add First names and Last names, but the chances of the combinations I want occurring are too low. Can a renaming option be added, or even something like a name list that combines both first and last names?

The only way you can do it is to rename the mercenaries by editing your saved game file. Located at My Documents folder. Just open the saved game file in a text editor and search for the name that you want to modify.
