This will be my final review of this game.

The tutorials have been much improved, I'll give them that.

The rest is still quite a mess IMHO.

There's no obvious way to see what the things in your inventory are good for or how to activate them. (no pop-up text while hovering over them or by clicking on them)

If you click an item in your inventory - when underground - and drag it to drop on your character it moves the camera/playing field and if you're unlucky it may disappear out of view and getting it back may take some time. (I wasted over a minute trying to find it again to no avail)

I find it very confusing and unclear what I'm supposed to do and having the entire battlefield disappear and staring into total darkness due to dragging the playing field - you don't drag it per se, it's more like scrolling on a phone - made me quit the game, I will now uninstall it and move on and never look back.

The art style and music's still good but there are way too many games in my library (and I've also got South Park, Atom RPG, Identity RPG and Party Hard 2 already payed for), so I wish the dev's the best, hope they get a ton of fans who love the game, I can however not give it a thumbs up unfortunately. (the amount of updates show the devs care and that's always a good thing though)

Great piece of art, no doubt about it.
As a game it lacks direction and purpose.

The ambient sound and music really give you the feeling of being lost in the wasteland of a post-apocalyptic world.
The combat lacks information and weight. Who hit what?WHat is selected? Who does anything? Why is kitty dead? Oh those enemys are ranged???

As much as I'd LOVE to recommend the game, I can not. I really would love to, though.
Maybe a sequel could improve on it

Wanderer!

I was intrigued by the graphical style and surreal art choices for this game. I was unable to get through more of an hour of it due to what seems like overly simplistic, unoriginal gameplay, and poor controls. Perhaps changing the camera controls to mouselook would be a good start. Also, I don't mind the lack of a proper tutorial but maybe add a few more tips on how to play the game or what the attributes and statistics actually are.

If you're really patient and need a cheap strategy game maybe you can get to the good parts of this one, but for all my love of indie gaming I could not do it with the way the game is now. Will revisit in a few months or more.

Story
In order to increase his crops, a farmer decides to use a new experimental substance to enlarge the size of fruits and vegetables and boost their growth speed. However, fruits and vegetables he got suddenly began to mutate, learned to move on their own and think. And at some point they decided to take their revenge upon humanity for the experiments on them…

Gameplay
The gameplay includes elimination of vegetables and fruits attacking a player, thus harvesting their juice. However, attacking enemies decrease its level and a player must observe the juice level in order to complete a level. One may destroy their enemies with one of a number of weapons or grenades. A player may also collect money and spend it for upgrades or weapons.

Key Features
The game has everything to enjoy playing it:
- bright cartoon graphics with low system requirements;
- plenty of humor;
- dynamic gameplay.

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

It's so weird, by its disturbing atmosphere I'd say it's an interesting piece of art. In the form of a game it's a boring mess where you walk around badlands with breaks for poor turn-based combat.

I managed to lose my first encounter, I am too bad at this.

The game looks pretty cool it has a nice atmosphere, the artwork looks great and has hand-painted elements. It has a good soundtrack with fits the post-apocalyptic scene.

But the gameplay left something to be desired. The walking simulator part has some complicated camera work which seemed a bit unnecessary and the camera panning was a bit slow. When you turn, look around and click the ground where you want to walk to the camera just pans right back. But perhaps that was the idea with a wandering walking simulator game.

As for the strategy part, I found the turn-based combat very uncomplicated perhaps too simple even, plus I had no idea when the turns we're up, or which of the characters still had moves or attacks left. When you rollover a character you see the hit points and other statistics. I used some specials but the main character never really got close to creates for it to have any big effect. The whole turn based fight just felt a bit simple and unfinished.

Not sure if I want to give this game a thumbs up or down, The Wanderer has a lot of potential and at the moment it is still in Early Access, so perhaps it is too early to judge. The art style looks cool and is intriguing, I'm going to go with neutral on this one and hope they update, revise and develop a bit more.
