Average of like 17 FPS
I've compared my specs with the system requirements and I basically meet/exceed the system requirements yet I can't even get above 20 fps. The system requirements are a bit confusing as it gives two different options and it's weird because the i5 is slightly better than my processor but the other option, the AMD FX 4300 is in fact worse than my processor. Same goes with the graphics, GeForce is hugely better than my graphics but it also recommends the Radeon 7800 which my graphics card is much much better than, so wtf is up? I'm also not even trying to run this at true high settings, I have the textures set to high but everything else is at standard. It makes no sense. I've also done everything possible to increase my fps such as forcing the game to run with gpu, changing the gpu settings to maximize performance and fps, running on performance mode, changing my system's performance settings, etc and no difference whatsoever

This game is the little brother off arma 3 and it ask alot off the CPU
BasedPleb Oct 4, 2018 @ 1:08pm
I'm pretty sure my cpu is fine, it's quite a bit better than the FX 4300

what your config?
BasedPleb Oct 20, 2018 @ 9:12am
what you mean, graphics settings? basically everything on standard with shadows and some others on either low or disabled
Dutch Cheese Oct 21, 2018 @ 2:18am
Your gpu is quite useless. This game only cares about ram and your CPU. While i was out of a GPU for a few days because of an upgrade i was still playing at 40fps on an overclocked i7-6700k.

Bottom line is, system requirements are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Sure you can play the game but to get 60+ fps you need a really good CPU.

I have 8gb ram and AMD Ryzen 5 2500U which, to my knowledge, is supposed to be a pretty good CPU
Dutch Cheese Oct 22, 2018 @ 10:04am
The ryzen 5 2500u is comparable against the i5-8250u (little bit worse )which runs arma 3 oke at low settings ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59MKP8iDZTM ). But keeping in mind the ryzen is a bit worse and single core performance is also lower, its normal you get lower fps. ( https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8250U-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-2500U/m338266vsm378273 )

8gb of ram really does not cut it. What ram do you have? Is it ddr3 or ddr4, do you got 2 sticks of 4gb or 1 stick of 8gb and at what speed if it clocked? 2400mhz has a huge difference compared to 4000mhz.
adlerfresse Oct 22, 2018 @ 10:08am
It runs worse than Arma 3
BasedPleb Oct 22, 2018 @ 10:39am
I'm pretty sure my ram is ddr4, I don't have dual channel though unfortunately. That's something I'd like to invest in but I don't feel comfortable taking apart my laptop to get into the motherboard and such

Guess you could watch these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXMtU4UBTBE and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efa0B_Qpd_s it kinda shows the difference between ram sticks
