Resync in Progress

Hello me and my friend is playing 2v2 against AI and after 1-2 hours we get "Resync in Progress" and its been doing it for about 15 minutes, is it just to wait or restart our match?

Technically it should resync itself after a while but the longer the game goes the longer it might take. Did it eventually resync? Which civs were involved? Which map?

We did it on the Island map, we fought against the Aztec and Korean wile we were French and Chinese. We quit after 30 mins of waiting and started a new map.

@DESTINYbit We tried it today again, and it seems to be the same problem without Koreans, 2 French, 1 Chinese and 1 Roman

Yes on Islands, and other maps aswell. I think it might be a multiplayer problem

It keeps happening around ~1 hour of gameplay and we cant keep playing, but if one of us leaves the game resumes and the other person can play.

Yeah it's as inteded.
The new patch incoming may resolve it (we found and fixed a cause of desynch and a issue in resync)

Still does this a lot. Messes with my friends and Is' games. Ruins our whole mood especially when we can't save. We wanted to find a new game to replace Civ 5 but oof.... please fix.

Games dead and gone. They didn't know how to make it popular, how to market it let alone on steam, or how to monetize properly so it died. It was one of my favorite games and it's essentially gone.

It's such a shame, it's an excellent game though. I can't find a similar game, without going through the big franchises already known.

And this game isnt even the same as those games. They just didnt have good management. I wish I could manage the game but I don't think they even look at these anymore due to lack of care?

Free games need updates, they didnt do that. I would also be supporting the multiplayer side a lot more because no one is here for the singleplayer. We want to compete, why not get longer ways to play the game.
