Announcing Controller & Steamdeck Support

Moonbased will be coming in Q4 2026: A Top-Down 3d Space Rogue Lite with Deck Builder elements and huge amounts of customization. I cannot wait to see what you are able to do with builds and deck customization.

For now our Store page is under review but we hope to be available for wish lists in the coming weeks as we build up to launch.

Once released Moonbased will have some base Xbox/Playstation support that we think is enough for you to enjoy Moonbased on release without issues.

I am committed to improving this support into the future with customization of controls and more features.

Moonbased will also feature some Steam Deck compatibility on release and I also aim to improve this in the weeks and months after release so that it is full compatibility and all issues are ironed out.

Naturally my priority has been developing Moonbased for PC keyboard and mouse (predominantly keyboard) but I will shift focus onto full controller and Steam Deck integration into the future.

Announcing Moonbased! WE MADE IT!

I am so very proud to announce Moonbased, A Top-Down 3d Space Rogue Lite with Deck Builder elements and huge amounts of customization and I cannot wait to see what the player base do with such a multi faceted and high paced game loop. I have poured alot of effort and long nights into this while balancing development with a demanding full time job and I am so proud I have reached this milestone and cannot wait to share my game with you all.

I hope to bring you more information as we move closer to release in Q4 2026.

Moonbased will be available for wish listing shortly! The Store page is currently ongoing Steam review so cannot be viewed for the time being but should be available by the 1st October.
