Online Multiplayer

Hey.

It says in the description that the game is fully playable both singleplayer and multiplayer. Is that multiplayer restricted to local only or can it be via internet? So for example I'll be the Vive player and then a random guy could join my game and help me out?

This game looks interesting! :)

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. We are attending an expo this week.. :) It's as you say - both singleplayer and multiplayer is in the game.

However it is restricted to local multiplayer only right now. You always play with someone on the same PC that the Vive is connected to.

To clarify. The game does have a fully working multiplayer but it's only local multiplayer.
There is no online multiplayer and we have no plans on adding online multiplayer. :)

Sad to say the no plans on adding MP online is the deal breaker for me.

Looking at the trailer, yes. It looks like it's set for one person to be in VR making the meals while the second delivers to the customers.

Yes, that is correct. The chef plays in the Vive and making the food, the waiter is controlled from the PC and takes care of time management, drinks and takes/serves orders :)

I guess people are getting a bit confused, because according to the store page, it's listed under "Multiplayer" and "Local Multiplayer"

We have changed that now. There were three options: online multiplayer, multiplayer and local multiplayer. So we chose the two that fit, but I understand it might be confusing so hopefully it's better now :)

Perhaps you should remove the coop tag then, local coop is for local coop, coop is online coop. Tad misleading imo.

It's the same thing here really. There is a specific tag for "online coop" that we don't use.
I'm sorry if this was confusing but we will change to only having "local multiplayer" and "local coop" just to be sure. :)

Can you please consider that online multiplayer option? It would be great, I wanted to stream this game on twitch and play with my friend, it would be great fun .. :(

This is really upsetting. I understand that the work involved in making a title online is substantial, but there's a serious vacuum in terms of couch co-op style games that also work online. VR seems like the perfect opportunity for these traditionally local multiplayer style games to carry that feeling of presence into an online space.

Sometimes I just want to have light-hearted, "party game" style fun in an online setting without my friends and I having to be Johnny Murder Marine in our elite squad of bullet people.
