How do I melt/grill cheese?

Tried the game and got stuck on this part quickly, how do I grill/melt cheese? All I had to use was ketchup and mustard, or dressing whatever, so I figured it's melted cheese. But it just burns on the stove and doesn't melt while on the burger while that is cooking. Or are the customers asking for snot?

You can't melt cheese, my guess it what you were seeing is mustard.

Weird, pretty sure I tried it and it still came back several times. Customers must've been millennials
