SD70ACe and CCS Stoppages

I'm running a time table task, Antelope Valley Line - Stacks: LATC Intermodal Terminal - Seattle Intermodal Terminal (Part 1), driving an SD70ACe and am getting frustrated running with cab signals on. Unless I am missing some clue, CCS is activating a full stop with minimal warning; certainly not enough warning to slow enough from 50mph to not be forced to a full stop. If I want to complete the service without numerous shutdowns, I have to drive it at no more than 24mph. I'm sure this is a known issue, but I cannot find any threads about it, and so here we are.
Aside from turning off cab signals or driving the route at no more than 24mph, how do I overcome this issue?
