It was on CSX on one of the services, but I can't remember which one. However, It also happened to me on the North Trans-Pennine, with similar result (so it seems consistent)
You do seem to be creating a situation which should be considered a bug though. Perhaps the dispatcher is letting you pass the signal when the front of the train in front has passed through the next signal, yet the end of the train is still in the block? Maybe their is a time limit in which you have to pass the signal after receiving permission and you have not passed the signal in that time limit? Maybe it is the latter, in which case it is probably not a bug.
Has anyone any suggestions how long you need to wait for a signal to clear? I have been waiting for minutes - and it doesn't help that I have no timetable to determine if I am on schedule or not (on CSX-HH)
