i usualy see a few train coming from the other direction
in Peninsula Corridor: San Francisco - San Jose i see a lot of traffic
sometimes 1 train each 5 minutes
i have no idea on how many train people wants to see
i only think gwe could use a few more trains and Lirr
but then the timetables needs adjusting too i guess
Crossing a train every five minutes is nothing... Especially on busy commercial lines. In Belgium (where I live), there're some busy lines with at least 1200 trains per day. That's almost one every minute.
Okay Belgium is one of the countries with the most dense railway network, and I know that would be way too hard to translate in a video game but I just would like more random things popping in the game. Maybe I ask too much but if you drive the same train at the same hour in TSW, nothing's ever gonna change from the last time.
(Sorry if I'm not getting clear, I sometimes struggle to get understood as English is not my primary language)
EDIT: I have almost every DLC and I get the same feeling with everyone of them
What has helped a lot, on the German routes in particular, is the modification of the services to include locomotives and rolling stock from other routes to be included if you own those routes. Though a few errors have been made, it seems the best way to keep the simulation as realistic to real world routes as can be by only including appropriate stock on the line.
But am I the only thinking the game lacks a bit of randomness sometimes?
What I mostly was asking for was some random delays happening on the way from time to time. They don't have to add new stock. Just adding more trains with the current equipment and franchises and make bots drive it on the line.
You never get an unexpected yellow signal then a red one because another train has to get in front of you, never get deviated, never get to couple or uncouple (except in scenarios), never get your main circuit breaker to randomly open, etc.
I know it's just a game, I was just saying that driving the same route over and over and never getting anything different from the last time is kinda boring me in the end.
but there are enough with yellow lights and even red light and traffic in front of you
having to slow down some for yellow and red lights get boring fast too
im enjoying the services as they are now
except for a few ones with obvious mistakes and or bugs in them
so you can almost not finish them
