Red signal bug on Main - Spessart Bahn?

So I've just had my first go on the new Spessart Bahn DLC, did the tutorials okay but thought I'd have a go with a freight train in the service mode (rather than immediately try a scenario).

Headed East I got about 60% along the route and came to a red signal so stopped 10 or so yards before it. After a moment a passenger train came the other way but once it passed, the light stayed red. I waited a few more minutes but it still stayed on red. I asked for permission to pass but was denied. 15-20 minutes later I'm still sat there with the signal on red. Is this normal? Can't say I've ever seen a signal bug of this kind before, and I own all of the DLC.

I did notice the length of the freight train I was driving stretched so it had still not fully cleared the yellow signals which were behind me, I wouldn't have thought that would have made any difference though?

I seem to be stuck at the same reds too :( DLC looks great but this is NOT good!

The station Laufach is the block... after some time you have several trains in both directions standing at red signals around Lauchach. It´s a total jam ... no chance for green signal. Big bad bug...

Have the same problem with AI train stuck at Wiesthal Station blocking all traffic. Pics of the bugged out train:

Does this only occur after loading a saved game or also without saving the scenario at some point? I had a similar situation in the S-Bahn-Scenario where 3 trains blocked a station. After I relaunched the scenario and played it through in one go, the bug didn't occur.

It doesn't matter, it's not working in one go either. I see it always reoccurs when taking the service DB 88108 Gemünden - Aschaffenburg with BR 185.2 at 9.00. The AI train is alwayss stuck at Wiesthal Station.

guys, the problem was identified as this DLC using BR 143 locos, which irl aren't used there, for AI trains and they had some doors issues, that would cause those trains to get stuck there and block it with red signals in service mode. earlier today it seems that a +400MB patch was released to fix this, by telling the game not to include the RSN BR 143 loco in the service mode

Yet I'm still on a red signal at MSB Laufenbach. 155 loco.

I'm also stuck in Laufach. Had to emergency brake before the station and barely made it before SPAD after third try. It seems that I'm being blocked by a coaster loco at the platform in Laufach that won't begin its schedule.

Everybody is stuck at that signal (some other services are affected too). No chance to avoid or circumvent the situation. It's a known bug since april and DTG seems to be not quite motivated to fix it. Just search this and other train sim (DTG e.g.) forums and you find countless threads about it.

Quite sad, I just bought this route on a sale today and it was my first run (not counting tutorials) and bam, something like this...

Hmm, if you just play the service mode, you can adjust the time by using passenger mode instead of loc-choosing. If you enter the train 5mins before the given time schedule, you can pass the signal. In the new journey mode, that is part of TSW 2020, you haven't the choice. I was referring to the journey mode in my last post. So, the service can be completed solely by this trick.
