That doesn't seem right as on the other loco's the B key dubs as both PZB and Sifa.
At which point exactly are you meant to be acknowleging the PZB alert ? ie As you are coming up upon the signal, as you are passing the signal/magnet or after you have passed the signal ?
Every time I have to ack a speed or aspect ahead, I press PGDN while passing the magnet but it never registers and the train goes into emergency brake where I have to then reset the PZB to get moving again.
The only way I can get through without the emergency brake is to just keep spamming the PGDN before, during and after the signal...but obviously this is not realistic and how I want to be playing it.
This is an issue with me on all locos by the way...so I assume I am doing something wrong. I've read the manual and this isnt realy spelt out (all it says is you need to ack the alerts...yes, but when? )
Thanks I will try this. I'm sure I have had the emergency brake kick in immediately after passing the signal though
It definetly feels like a bug to me. I will look for the bug report form (or any other way bugs are supposed to be reported).
Update: I reported the bug, DTG support came back to me within a couple minutes, stating the issue is known to them. The keyboard controls for the PZB on the BR143 are working fine. The issue with the B-Button on the controller most likely interfers with the operation the keyboard buttons of the PZB, when operated near simultaneously. This would explain the issues i was having before.
I tested this, and as long as i keep using the keyboard commands alone, the PZB on the BR143 works fine.
Hi Erssd,
Thank you for updating your post. Hopefully anyone searching this issue will now be aware that sadly this feature is not currently working when using a controller.
If you come across any further issues or have any questions please feel free to send another ticket as I don't always get a chance to keep an eye on the Steam forums.
