Digital Platform departure boards.
These look fantastic at some staions on the GWR DLC, I was wandering if these will have live times shown on them in the future, It would be a great feature to have working, especially for free roam mode.

This was suggested from many players but no reaction from DTG and remember, the addon is old and there is no development on this. Bringing out DLC after DLC has a much higher priority, even higher than fixing bugs on everything which is older than the newest 2 DLC.

In the future DTG wants to implment PIS (Passenger Information System) which would make use of all the info boards in the stations and trains. They say that as of now it's in the features to do list

They told that short after the release of GWE one year ago but still nothing happened.
They want much since release 1.5 years ago but most things did not make it into the game until today.

Is it in the game? NO
Is it officially announced? NO
Then stop telling around stories until it gets official.

I also had a dicussion on a live stream where Matt . said the information system is a future enhancement they want to include.

Are you going to tell me my information is incorrect? Did I say it was coming soon, NO, did I say it was OFFICIAL NO. but did I say it something they are wanting to add in the future YES -

Matt himself said the PIS is in the to do list, and something he really wants to implement in the sim. My guess is when the editor comes out and 3rd party devs start working on content, that will give more time for DTG to implement more features

Also don't be rude, you're the one here whow as no info on what you're talking about, so do yourself a favour and shut the hell up

Given DTG do not communicate a roadmap, any attempt on here to state the future direction of DTG is just a guess. I give anything that is not an official announcement from DTG this context.

And Darkage, saying dont be rude to someone then telling them to shut the hell up is beyond comment. Its your typical recourse- assert something without evidence, then when challenged to provide evidence you get personal, and so in this way you deflect the discussion away from the subject and reduce it to a personal slanging match. Its predictable and tends to invalidate your contributions which, on occasion, are worth listening to. Less so as time goes by.
