The sounds in TSW?
For a train simulator TSW is way too quiet and lacks ambiance, anyone who has stood on a station platform will know that genrally trains are quite noisy especially diesel trains also there is a lack of background noise from passengers on the platforms and onboard the train, what are others thoughts on this?

And the tac-tac on the rails.
It's a noise that promotes immersion.

Fret diesel train both in CSX and New York, with my sound system ( no ear set ) is quite lound, good and immersive. anyway sometimes it still a bug hearing like you were outside and vis et versa, particulary with the horn.

The audio of this game is indeed very poor. Shame. Apparently they are very ignorant about it, too or has there been any improvement? Quite frankly, I liked the sound on the MSTS a lot better.

The american diesel loco sounds are a ludicrous joke in TSW. For anyone that even begins to believe they are spot on, may I recommend a medical procedure on your hearing?

The sounds are horrible. But then again, in france you don't get to see too many GE or EMD diesels for real. And all use the same horn, but when in reality, all three locos included in CSX heavy haul use different horns. The AC4400 sound, is spot on. Really it is. In notch zero, at idle, it is spot on right. Notch 1-8 not even close. General Electric FDL motors DO NOT sound like a sucking hoover vacuum cleaner. Not sure if you have hoover vacuum cleaners in France.

Go to 10:37 of the first vid...AC4400 from idle climbing throught the notches.

And notch 8 fully loaded on the moffat tunnel east bound climb
