Please Allow Manual Saving
I have issues where sometimes after driving a train for a while, the game crashes straight to desktop. I would be far less frustrated if there were an autosave that you could load or a manual save. I know the game auto saves as you go along a scenario so that if you make a mistake that causes you to fail you can restart from a check point but I don't see a way to load from the main menu or anything. It sucks to drive in a scenario for an hour then crash, give up on the game for a bit, then go back hoping that it won't happen again and then it does. I remember when I was a kid and they actually had locomotives you could play on at some parks, steam of course and dead locos at that, and I'd be playing having fun and get told it's time to go home. This feels like that, only worse. I get on a train and have no idea if I will ever reach my destination. I would be able to handle CDTs far better if I knew that I could at least restart the game and get to my desination. If I am wrong about how saving works, I apologize, but the only saves I can find are the ability to "Restart from Checkpoint" before quitting out of a scenario entirely.

There is no autosave in TSW. There is manual, though.

I must have some sort of mental block lol. I don't know why I didn't see that before. Thank you!

It happens to all of us, Garrish, although some will not admit to it. Good to see that you found the answer to your question.

@tompallen Thanks as well, always nice to hear from cool people! Mistakes can be hard to admit, and I could have probably removed the post once answered, but in case anyone else misses it, I'm leaving it up. My mistakes may help others.
