Cannot download update because of "not enough free disk space"
The update is about 600 mb, but I am getting a message saying there is not enough free disk space. I have plenty of disk space. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks.

That's a problem with many UE4 games because all content is packed into one huge file. For updating this file has to be copied into a temp dir (the Steam updating process can't alter files "on the fly"), so you need the space twice.

You may have enough space on your game HDD but not where steam is installed.

I freed up some space, and that did the trick. Thanks.

Steam uses the game drive for the temp files.
