Thanks for the reply, yes i did that. I in fact did the steps to reset PCS. Even though the light PCS open didn't come on.
1. Set the Throttle to Idle
2. Set the Reverser to Neutral
3. Set the Independent Brake to Full Application.
4. Set the Automatic Brake to Full Service
5. Wait for 60 seconds
6. Release the Automatic Brake and wait for the Equalizing Reservoir / Brake Pipe to
return to 90 psi
No Joy,
In fact after I made this post I did a trip on the San Francisco. Route, Left Terminal, drove perfectly to the 1st station,. Got to speed,. Turn throttle to idle, added 20psi blp lap. slowed to 15mph, released break put set Throttle to 1 to control speed,. train slowed,. set Throttle 3 - no amps, no power costed to a stop..????
Train is dead cant do anything.. I can roll backwards down the grade,. I can set breaks.. open doors,. just no power.
That seems to fix some weird issues.
Just tried different route. drove train normal,. I would almost dare say perfectly. Slowed down for first station stopped 5 yards short of target, I was not close enough at 5 yards to trigger completion throttled up to move that 5 yards.. No joy, No Amps, I didn't try to Throttle while break was on and I did not cause a PSC open state..
This now has happened on 3 different loco types and I will also say this was not this bad prior to the HOTFIX that put out last week..
I had this issue only on San Fran route now it seems to be happening on all,. Very disappointed :(
Only time i experience anything close to what is described is usually my fault on German loco's where I have applied the brakes with power on. This case is to make sure you bring the throttle to off after releasing the brakes before powering back up.
Since they made a dedicated patch to fix this very issue on another engine type, kind of tells me there is a issue in the game.. I have tried all the reset keys and options.. I am very aware of the PSC open state that will happen with power while braking, As posted above I have done all the steps to reset.. I wish this was the problem but it is not.
Thanks for replying though..
Best
It acts just like it would if you threw the emergancy break and you have to reset.. but,. I didn't and i tried the reset steps as well.. Side note.. I can move Freight like a boss,. never have any issues there.
Funny, I just got done doing this,. yeah all was good..
