Pusher locomotive setup
I have put together a consist in free mode, a gp38-2 lead with a sd40-2 pusher. I setup the gp as lead loco while the pusher as trail, following the instructions I found here. Apparently only the lead loco seems to be doing all the work. So here are some of my questions:

1. How to properly setup a pusher, one that is not directly attached to the lead. The pusher could be at the end of the consist or at the middle.
2. How to tell if it is actually working? I hear sound changes on lead loco as I go up with notches, but nothing changes on the pusher.
3. If multiple locomotives are attached together, is it possible to change lighting from lead loco?

Sorry if the questions seem to be dumb, I know nothing about irl loco operation. I'm just a fan of simulators in general.

Turn the radio on the back panel. Make sure your brake setup is correct. When not in MU configuration the instructions to the DP ( distrubuted power) locomotives are sent by radio. In MU configuration they are sent by the orange cables connecting them. If you have not done so download and read thhis manual created by Rudolf Jan.

Ok thanks mate, got it working. Problem was, I did not notice that the radio on the lead unit was turned off.
One more question, setting the cut-off value on trail units doesn't seem to be making any difference regardless of whether I set to cut-off or freight. The instructions say it should be cut-off. Can you clarify this bit to me?

Ok NVM, found the explanation in manual. Thanks for the link!
