Track ir 5 doesnt work in sunlight

track ir 5 is rubbish the most tiniest bit of sunlight and it starts bouncing around all over the place when im looking straight ahead but at night it works fine. Ive tried ajusting the settings but nothing works What do u have to be in a dark room with no sunlight for it to work it would help if they gave u a guide on how set it up but no you just get left to figure it out

What does it have yo do with tsw though ?? Yes track ir relies on infrared being reflected towards your camera. Sunlight has lots of infrared, si if you have a window on your back, or à shed of light on the field of view of the camera, it won't work properly.

No soz ive just got the 2 trucking games ive got a window to the left of me and the curtains are shut but still bounces when theres any sun comes in its a bit stupid though that you can only use track ir in a place where there is no windows for sun to get in

i wasnt calling the person stupid I was calling track ir stupid that u cant use it in sunlight

just turn up the slider for the sun sensitivity? you ever try that? Its in the Manual about where you should place the IR camera, not in front of windows, Eye Glasses with non anti glare, cigarettes hot cherie will cause flickering. its under camera tab located in the UI, light filter threshold . mines at 230.

They are respossible for TrackIR and not Dovetail.

Dovetail only publish simulation software and not hardware. If this is still confusing then ask a parent to help you.

Also try to use TrackClip pro or just if you dont want to waste money, you can make your own. You just need 3 IR leds.

yes ive done that ive turned up the sun senstivity to the max and it still bounces and ive closed the curtains to try to block the sunlight but nothing seems to work when there is sun shining looks like ill just have to save up and buy some black out blinds
