Login to Dovetail account

It annoys me the there are no option to let the application remember the Dovetail account login information, so you have to type it again at every start up of CSX Heavy Haul?

Yes I did hear and read that 'they mentioned that creation of DTG account and usage of same will bring certain benefits to players' I also wondered if others had read that too ;-)

I'd like to think in TSW this would, and will, mean something in reality so I did ask just to highlight this point. The last time this was brought up in TS, it mean't absolutely d**k.

Let's hope this isn't just one of the many many supposed incentives DTG are known for without actually coming up with any 'goods'. We were there to see this in TS and I know you were too, bigbadvuk.

I am going to remain as positive as I can with TSW but sometimes this just seems like de ja vu and a little bit rich and pukeworthy. Considering their past I would be very surprised if they actually dare to have any counter-argument...

Well yes Ive fixed it now but , previously the CSX login screen kept coming up when I tried to play , I did not realize it was not for the game

I've seen that typing three or four times on <Space> when TSW is loading (white screen) overpass this Login screen.

Thanks everyone for raising this, it's a bit of a strange one really. We've been trying to replicate it in house with varying degrees of success so it's currently rather hard to pin down exactly what's causing this to happen.

We are extensively investigating this though, hopefully we'll have it fixed ASAP :)

I always need to log in the first time I run TSW for the day. After that no need to even when I restart/reboot.

I know longer have to login at all when playing TSW. Not sure what I did for this to happen but, I think I may have pressed the Esc key on the login page.

Not at all do I think you are being 'snarky' and I am happy you are asking but I am also thinking because we come from opposite ends of the 'argument/discussion' due to the fact you represent TS interests and I am a consumer we are not going to agree on equal grounds from the very start.

Anything I could say would be replied to by you with a tempered company line ethic and company policy speak. I'd do the same too as that would be what I get paid for. Perfectly acceptable behaviour.

I really would like to answer this on merit Jay, but I can't for reasons I have described above it would be a waste of time for us all.

The very fact you are so naive to ask me about DTG incentives tells me we are miles apart in the very meaning of 'incentives'.

I have no reason to doubt you are a very decent realistic and pleasant individual who is just towing a company policy line in your official wake on these forums Jay, but please don't patronise us (TS members) (or maybe just me) by suggesting DTG have anything more than a horrible sub-standard reputation for promising so much and providing so little.

Here's a clue Jay:

Late 2015: A thread by DTG asking for a list of broken content to be repaired...
Thread filled by members with a massive amount of examples including fixes which would take seconds in the editor.
Thread removed.
Thread ignored
Fixes ignored

TS content remains mostly unfixed...
