Any way to turn off the annoying Objective Marker and replace it with a HUD version that tells you the distance?
I'm glad they included the 'Next Speed HUD' in addition to marker (I turned off Next Signal Marker and Next Signal HUD).

However, I'm still bothered by the objective marker showing all the way from the start. It kind of kills the immersion for me.

Can this be replaced with a HUD version? or can this be made to show only when you're within 1-2 mi of the marker?

Thanks!

I don't think so. Why won't you try to play the game hudles? Just make notes on your first drive where to expect speed restrictions and certain stops and voilla. I already learnt the first half of the route and it really ads a lot of immersion. I turn the HUD on only when I know I'm close to the destination and need to stop precisely at it.

Yeah, but knowing the route takes so much time. Thanks!

You can toggle it with CTRL+1 - I usually leave it off most of the time and periodically turn it back on again just to refresh where it is until it's getting closer.

Thank you Matt! That will do. I just switch it on before final stop!! Thank you!

I have a bug at the moment where I reloaded a savegame and the objective marker has not reappeared. I have tried turning it off and on again in the settings and using CTRL-1.

On the map screen, the blue star icon is moving along with my train. Problem I have now is, I have no idea where to stop once I reach Cumberland Terminal

Guess I'll need to restart the scenario and do it all in 1 sitting without saving (120mins)

Scenario is "Cumberland Charge"

Fret not. If you open the map (9) you can trace the path that your train should travel.

The end of the line usually stops before a red signal. So all you need to do is follow the signal and stop at red close enough that you hit the stop marker.

I don't think so, you can turn it off in the settings. I think the HUD information is a bit scattered all over the screen. I think they should do something a bout that, but highest priority now will be to solve the keyboard issuess and the fps issues many poeple experience.
