Turntable tutorial

Hi all!
Is anyone else having issues with the turntable tutorial saying it isn't aligned with the train when it clearly is so you can't advance through?

I completed that tutorial. No bugs detected.

Keep turning the turntable eventually it will line up. It's the far end of the turntable from the cabin that needs to be lined up.

I gave up and exited the turntable tutorial but yeah, like Easilyconfused said, you probably have to line it to the opposite end that the camera's not facing for some silly reason.

I had a bug on the first tut, coupling the second lot of carts, went to drive away, but it didnt acknowledge i had the second set of carts even though i did

Having issues with turntable tutorial, I get the turntable lined up, get in the cab and drive on to the turn table, I stop in the middle and it doesn't advance the tutorial. ???

I had a problem where the turntable wasn't aligned and the game forced me to drive the train into the turntable because I couldn't move the turntable again to align it... Also had the problem where the turntable would be aligned but wasn't detected as being, just turn 180 degrees and it should work.

I had the same issue. Took me a couple of tries. I think I was not going fast enough before I stopped on the turntable. Try going over 5 MPH before slowing down. If you go fast enough then the objective marker should show up on the turntable

Make sure you operate every required switch in the loco before moving it (like, use the horn twice, switch on the lights etc). This should be optionnal "objectives", but I think the scenario might not go ahead if one of these actions are not performed.

I managed to complete every tutorial on the firtst try without any issues, for the turn table make sure safety is first (lights on and horn twice before moving) keep your speed up until your completely on the turntable and come to a stop when the cab is close to the turntable house, the alignment needs to be the head end of locomotive ligned up with the track that it needs to exit on, if you click on the buttons below the monitor you can switch cameras from one side of the turntable to the other side (facing the locomotive.)

Not required actually.

Are you sure you are aligning the turntable correctly? It has 2 ends. Remember if you click on the picture on the monitor, it will switch to a different camera, and that could be the end of the turntable you need to align with the locomotive.

Thanks! Didn't know you could change the picture! I think I must be the 180 degrees wrong! I'll try again tomorrow!

I have this issue...stop loco in the middle of turntable, correctly aligned, but it wouldn't let me leave the seat.

I also have this problem and hence can't complete this tutorial. The "marker" is 558 yards away. Whereas I think it should be on the turntable.

Just ran the tutorial again without any problem -- make sure you are aligned in the correct dirrection on the turntable - you might be 180 degrees out. The marker is showing you the objective after the turntable -- first time through - threw me off as well.

Edit: Ok -- this morning 22nd Sept - tried to run through the tutorial again on another profile and ran into the same problem everyone else is reporting -- once stopped on the turntable you can NOT leave the drivers seat by using the "E" key -- went back to my original profile and had the same problem so it looks like tha patch had a side-affect on this as reported.
