How do you contact dispatch?
Recently i did a free roam on Rockwood and took the train from the siding, i couldn't go as far as a few feet as it told me to stop and contact dispatch before proceeding any further.

I did TAB and i got nothing, is that how you contact dispatch? Or is it something else?

There is no free roam in TSW, only service mode... if the train you take is sheduled for a time and you take it before that time the signals wont change. Only if you are right on time of your shedule.

Sorry, i should've said Service Mode.

I also didn't get a "WAIT FOR SERVICE" sign.

You cant operate main line switches in service mode, so you never can pass a red signal without a route for your train. I guess you want to drive the train from rockwood siding to the mainline and stuck at the signal there?
Same thing in Cumberland, if you want to take a loco from the yard for a ride on the main line
wont work, you cant set a route for the train out of the yard and the signals stay red and the dispatcher wont let you pass a red signal.
Sadly this is how the service mode works, you only can drive the trains like in the shedule listet, nothing else.

A nice feature would be if you can take a loco in the cumberland yard couple some wagons behind it and let the dispatcher find a slot between sheduled trains to get you to your destination... but i dont think we will see this in TSW.
