FIXED - Mouse Cursor Jumping

This issue has been reported to crop up after the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is applied.

Various solutions are as follows:

Running the Kirben Builds of ScummVM
Running the game in Windowed Mode
'Grabbing' the mouse using Ctrl+M
Running the game from the ScummVM GUI (GOG shortcut reported to cause mouse issue)
Turning off 'Enhance Pointer Precision' in mouse settings (ScummVM) or (Windows ?)

Windows 10:

These might require editing the scummvm config (.cfg) file in relation to the game being played. ie. 7th Guest = scummvm-t7g.cfg

Display setting set to 100% size rather than 125 or 150.
Set fullscreen to false and play the game in windowed mode
Set the fast_movie_speed=true (default as false) for a more smooth game feel.

Sad. They could have easily fixed this themselves in the Steam installer. Don't buy this junk.

This worked for me.... but I had to use my mouse REAAAALLLLL slow to get to the screens and click the buttons.

From the opening title screen hit F5 to enter the SCUMMVM panel. Click options. Uncheck correct aspect ratio and run in full window mode. Click OK.

It does work well, if small, in windowed mode - even if you set it to x3 display size.

Also, the file to edit the options from the OP are found in Steam/steamapps/common/Maniac Mansion/ScummVM/
The file for the standard is maniac-v1.ini and the other is maniac-v2.ini
set full screen to false.

The simplest solution for me was to just download SCUMMVM 2.0 (the latest version), and replace the older version in the Steam Maniac Mansion folder with it. After that the mouse cursor worked without issues.

If you switch the graphics mode to OpenGL, you can resize the window.

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to replace scummv with the 2.0 version because it looks like the game is embedded into the original scummv and so when i replace it it just comes back and does not go away and when i load up scummv 2 it does not find any of the games.
