Yes and yes. I'm guessing the guy got focused on a different thing and the game slowly changed to this.

I've played the demo on DS and it was nice, I didn't think the only thing he would keep would be the tetris part. Sad ending.

Yes and no actually, there are two bob's games and this is just the game within the game if you catch my drift.

This game as well as the RPG is all just part of an ARG there was recently a really interesting story talking about it put up on Youtube called BOB'S GAME: the strangest KICKSTARTER ever created! I suggest you check it out but keep in mind even the person doing said video seems to not understand that this entire thing is basically one really long ARG.

yeah, this is the game that bob as making in the RPG called Bob;s game. it failed miserably, and this was supposedto kickstart hiw actual RPG bobs game, the game about him making a game, which is the game you see here.

this is the puzzle game from the "bob's game" rpg
well it was now it's deleted due to unknown reasons

He's probably just moving on. I wouldn't blame him for doing so, probably the best thing to do besides releasing the RPG.
