How does the game play on controller?

I know it was "full controller support", I'm just wondering if it's enjoyable to play with a controller? Are there enough buttons to make it easy to play and what not? Games with a lot of spell variety and skills are 50/50 when it comes to how well they play on controller.

Hey Exzander!

The game will be released on Xbox One and PS4 in the near future, we did a lot of work on the controls to make sure it felt right for consoles.

It plays extreamly well with a controller. I read several posts on here about wanting different keys or mouse functions. I played with a controller and could not have asked for a more user friendly control scheme (except a strafe function but keyboard uses didnt get that either)

I played a lot with both. I think it's more pleasant with a controller but some things are easier with keyboard and mouse. Aiming (especially with the Teleport rune) is much easier with the mouse. Moving around and hurling basic spells is easier with a controller and the Homing rune acts weird with the pointer position.

Both are equally viable options, with pros and cons.

I love playing this game with a controller. I downdloaded software for a controller and its wonderful. but as said previously, there are pros and cons to both setups.

playing myself on ps2 controlled that has usb adapter, controls are smooth (and best part of that setup: controlles works out without extra work for almost all of games that has controller support):)

((only part not fun is figuring out how xbox controls map into other controllers ... took quite while to find button that triggers mana bulb:) ))
