The current keyboard bindings are the most ergonomic we could muster, but we understand players like to have complete control over their... controls. ;)
We will certainly consider making them customizable, thank you for the suggestion!

Other than that maybe a way to walk? Running has caused me to... run into the water and drown several times when trying to make small adjustments in which direction I'm facing.
Well, they might be the most ergonomic you can muster... for right-handed players. As someone who is not, games with forced WASD movement are functionally unplayable for me.
Im not sure I understand this. Many games or platforms use the right hand for movement, although it is the standard to use your left, it has not always been the case. You get used to the key bundings in a couple hours of game play.
Your dominant hand is irrelivant for controlling the character, would you say typing is more difficult for you because the most commonly used keys are not accessible to your dominant hand?
Would you say driving is more difficult because the controlls on your dominant side are used less than your other sides controlls?
If this game relied on a stylus I would back you 100% because you are then arguing your dexterity is better on your dominant side. But I fail to see the inconvenience of pusing a button with your non dominant hand.
Also... I used a controller to play(which is awesome btw). Do you order special inverse controllers for your gaming platforms?
I do hope you dont take offense but we are not talking about delicate dexterity like handwriting, simply pusing a key. And at that rate, your dominant hand would now be controlling the attacking, which is arguably as important as the walking.
NOTE: I am not arguing that customizeable key mapping is bad... It is infact ALWAYS good to be able to customize your controlls.
Ideally, I would like to be able to bind spells to arbitrary keys - e.g. set Q = actus 1, E = immedi 3, R = creo 2, etc.
I use a left-handed mouse, and squinching my hands together to use WASD movement with my right hand exacerbates RSI. There are a ton of obnoxious steps I can take in order to play a game with those enforced controls that assume right-handed ergonomics are the only ones that matter, like buying a right-handed mouse or rearranging my desk just for this one game or bla bla bla but these things are, as aforementioned, obnoxious and shouldn't be required.
Thus, unrebindable games are *functionally* unplayable for me.
