Infinite Load Screen
Hey there. I've been enjoying this game a lot but now I've ran into a problem where I can't even play it. I had to reinstall Windows 10 earlier today, and now when I start up the game, it gets to the Loading screen, and just sits there with the circle looping, never going further. Task Manager shows a small amount of processor and memory use, but no disc access. I've tried:

1) Reinstalling the game
2) Reinstalling the game with deleting all files related to it
3) Playing windowed, on different resolutions, different quality settings
4) Running it as an Administrator (it just relaunches the launcher when you click play from it)
5) Reinstalling C++ and DirectX redists.
6) Installing the game on other drives.
7) Starting the game with no internet connection (gives the error for being unable to connect to cloud, launch it anyways and it still gets stuck in loading). Also tried in Steam Offline Mode.

For what it's worth, I've fired up other games, in various engines, and they've all been fine. And yes, all Windows updates have been installed.

I shall do that if I ever have the problem again, but for some reason, it just started up perfectly fine. Maybe it was the patch that downloaded just now! All the best to you all, the game's a delight.

Was there anything you did, in particular, to get it working? I have the same issue.

This line means that MFL can't work well with your video card or video driver or direct X version you have on your computer. We support only direct X 11.0. If you have direct X 9.0 - it might be the problem. If you have the right version of direct x - you can try to update your video drivers

Thanks for the advice. I have DX 11. I updated my video drivers but still no luck. I've copied the full log below in case there's anything else you can suggest

FMOD Studio: Creating runtime system instance SystemNotInitializedException: FMOD Studio initialization failed : Calling initialize : ERR_OUTPUT_INIT : Error initializing output device.

And these lines say that for some reason MFL audio system can't start itself.

You can try such things:
1) If you use some kind of audio tuning software - turn it off.
2) Reboot your PC (solves like 90% of issues)
3) Plug in any headphones or speakers (I know - sounds weird, but actually can help)
4) Try to restart Windows Audio Service. Here is an instruction:

1. Click the Start Button, type "services.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Search Bar and press Enter to start Services.
2. In the right pane, please check whether the Windows Audio service is started.
3. If not, please double click the service. In the tab "General ", make sure the "Startup Type" is "Automatic". Then please click the button "Start" under "Service Status" to start this service.
