Thank you for creating separate deiscussion, bcause it's separate question.

Here is original Quote from MIchael Mendheim creater of the game:

Just wanted to chime in and add some clarification to the design. Player salary ranges are loosely based on real NFL player salaries. We allow the User to come in and manage their team however they want - we don't offer you guard rails. If your strategy is to sign multiple free agents with massive contracts in your first year (sign multiple players at Khalil Mack / Aaron Rodgers size contracts) you will quickly break your salary cap.

There simply isn't enough cap space to do this - just like in the NFL a team can only sustain 1 or 2 of these types of mega contracts. Your Player Salaries were at $294,700,000 at the start of season 2 and your team budget is 130,070,000 – the math doesn’t work. At the start of season 2 you should have picked up a slew of cheaper free agents and cut a number of your legends & All-Star players to get your team back under the salary cap.

If we allowed you to pick up an entire team of all-stars and legends then you wouldn’t lose any games and have the most powerful team in the league. Dynasty doesn’t work like this. You need to carefully manage player salaries and cap space. Building a Dynasty is a very hard and difficult task, that's why there are so few dynasties in sports.

By keeping the design open and not providing guard rails User can experiment with different management styles and see what works and what doesn’t.

When starting your first season a sound method is to trade / pick-up (free agents) 3 or 4 decent players. These aren’t All-Stars, these are players in the 60-75 OVL (Receiver, Blocker, Safety, LB or CB) and slowly build your team in the game. QB’s and RB’s gain a lot of XP in games and you can purchase more XP every game so these positions level up pretty quickly. Once your team gets up to speed you can make more trades or pick-ups or roll with the team you have. Free-Agents like in the NFL are always overpriced. Trades are somewhat less expensive and building rookies into All-Stars is the most cost effective approach. Yes, you will lose a number of games in that first season but you will have a great foundation for moving forward and you might even make the playoffs in your first year. Once you're in the playoffs anything can happen.

As Team GM your goal is to build a great Dynasty team, while maximizing your profits. You should always stay under your team budget, with plenty of reserve $$$.
