There are 18 teams. No real teams or players, but most of the team names and star players are obvious parodies of NFL teams and stars.

Teams are still being balanced. This is Beta, not final. Your feedback will be taken into account. That's the purpose of this. Michael Mendheim is designing this game and he's a huge (but frustrated) Bears fan. When he plays the Mutants, his strategy is to kill QB Spike Phlegmon #8 on the first play by running him into a mine. QB Mitch Trublitsky #10 will then enter the game and he is actually pretty good and raises the level of the offense. The Mutants can run the ball really well. That is their strength. On defense they are good, but have problems getting sacks and turnovers (just like the real deal). Now if only the Bears would do the same.

I think it's more amusing than anything else, I'm not actually upset about it. It's a fairly realistic depiction of the team to be honest...

I think the team names are hysterical and if there really will be more in the future I hope the Bills get one!
