Bloodbowl copycat?

This reminds me of the Warhammer game known as Bloodbowl, anyone else getting that vibe?

It's the ghetto version that was featured on the genesis for the "masses." Think Bloodbowl meets NFL Blitz with less focus on developing teams and more boomshakalaka.

I take it you never played Mutant League Football back in the 90's on Sega Genesis? That's what this game is, just updated. Has nothing to do with Bloodbowl whatsoever.

Ok so thats two people who've said Genesis here... is this some sort of remake? and no, I went off Sega after the Mega Drive and went straight for the PlayStation during the DreamCast age so... yeah... totally went of Sega.

Eh, too little too late imo, Blood Bowl got there first with a more upto date version either way imho. So I guess ya could say they were the copycats but at least they beat em to the punch.

As someone who's played Bloodbowl way before this game. I still recommend it, it's pretty fast paced. It's more uhhh, madden than ragey nuffle sadism.

Mutant is a remake from genesis, action game, like madden but with monsters, more arcadish.

BloodBowl is based on a tabletop miniature game, a boardgame with dice rolls and turned based. It's like chess with rolls, even in the videogame. Yes, both are football, but can't compare, they are totally different genre games.

However, it's stiĺl football that uses creatures, powers and special abilities to get the job done so that principle is still the same despite how it is executed! Do tell me if your vocab lacks the capacity of anything beyond profanity and I'll try to break this down to your level so you can understand it, although personally I dislike stooping that low but whatever.

Honestly? Comparing the two I'd say not alot was put in but in this case it is debatable as it clearly wasn't Bloodbowl who founded it. However in my opinion they did a decent imitation or dare I even say successor of it so for me yes this rerelease is too little too late.
