Ottoman empire and laws early game
Hey, i would like to have your experience on the Ottoman Empire because i am currently stuck. In the early game, i make the laws legacy of slavery/segregation/appointed bureaucrat and finally professional army when the rng is profitable but at this time i am already in ~1875 or so with the random rng.

But i am having difficulty with the ban on slavery and the free trade activist who is very complicated to put in power (+10% of the favorable movement).

I would like to know how you manage your early game, because it's been at least 20 games that I try things

Ottomans always had a somewhat harder start, but the sphere of influence changes really shafted them, It's stupidly RNg dependant to get the correct laws now to get rid of sick man of europe, so you got a decent chance of not beeing able to ocmplete it, which sets oyu back a lot.
TL;DR: It's not oyu, it#s Ottomans that are unreasonablyshafted nowadays

The Rng is very ugly i agree, i even tested a 10 minute run where I tried to ban slavery, i immediately lost my nation block and a civil war of landowners followed with it while having a 10% chance with 70% refusal of the law

Bannign Slavery specifically is a trap at the start. Just ignore that for the start, your only chance to get anywhere progressive i nthe first half of the game is to try and switch the farming ownership laws from serfs to the full ground ownership (not the sharecropping rap, the full ownership). That should give you enought liberal momentum that you can start getting rid of all the crap like traditionalism and such. Then, if by very good luck you actually compelte the sick man of europe, you can push onwards t o be more liberal. If you end up in the 95% of RNG chances that doesn't allow oyu to ocmplete it, get ready to be thrown back into hard traditionalism party wise, and then 20-40 years to claw back to the position you were before, to then push to actually increase liberties.

Hum interesting, currently where i am permanently stuck is as said, the fact of putting a free trade activist at the head of the landowners. But making sure that the modernist movement is in the majority at more than +10% is a pain, i have the impression that it takes several urban centers of lvl 5 to have enough middle class that supports the movement, generally around 1870 i get there but it is rare because it dies quickly and we barely have time to pass a reform that is already canceled because 90% of the time the landowners are either Authoritarian or slavers, so we waste a lot of time
