Refuse Belgium Conference?

I like to play as Belgium but since the last update they added the London Conference form 1939 and now I’m asking myself I can easily refuse this conference. But with the lower Optionen for each great power I ask myself if I can repair these lost opinion? Or did I just get anect after time?

1839 maybe? When I play Belgium, I give priority to building good relations with the surrounding powers to avoid becoming a vassal of a certain power. The emerging London conference is indeed an annoying dilemma. Either you cede your land to Luxembourg and the Netherlands, or the Great Powers are much less fond of you. I remember that the event could change the outcome of the conference by getting more powers to support you, but I did not succeed.
