I set some university to increase lvl of pop ... but i though peasant go to workers job directly ...
I play since vanilla, never encounter this kind of problem.
I'm not sure, but if they can get what they need as a subsistence farmer but would have trouble getting food as a factory worker, maybe that's what's keeping them subsistence farmers.
Do you get more converting if you subsidize the worksites?
With oranje i start with 90k+ jobseekers
Without any major thing happenning all my pesants ( around 82k ) disappears from the jobseeker branch on april 22-23 all of a sudden.
Build a millet farm
Disband my only one construction site
Disband my whole army
Wait for like 1-2 months then all my pesants were seeking jobs again
All above had to be done
Japan needed over 100 YEARS for that to happen! AS PORTRAIT INGAME (much to my personal dislike btw. thou then again... having 2 million people without work and thus money = shurefire kill of your life standart (wich is ALSO portrait ingame btw.)
So, instead of crying, learn about it in reality and then ADMIT that they did a DAMN GOOD JOB PORTRAIING IT THE RIGHT WAY!
The insults you posted are petty and not needed.
Often land was getting scarce, they had no choice to move to cities for jobs. By the time tractors came around large amounts of people were getting displaced and forced out.
The problem the person was facing probably had to due with changes to qualifications and that bad UI change not showing the actual available workforce.
If I need to wait 100 ingame years for something like this while the AI, Somehow, seems to be able to speed that process up, judging by how quick they are producing goods, I might as well uninstall the game. Thats not fun. Im playing this to have fun. Not build factorys, than go afk for 2 hours to wait for people to get employed.
buy their land.....and they have no choice
