Didn't 1.5 spend several weeks in open beta? QA testers (players) didn't catch all bugs?
there were about 2-3 crashes and 2 annoying but simple bugs and they are clear now.
runs fine for me... and i´m a returning player, too.
The game in it's previous main patch was the most balanced and functional. Old issues are back that plagued the game at release like generals returning to home HQ after fronts change/nations capitulate. Front lines never moving. Back then it was because losing a second offensive battle reset your previous occupation. Now the new system has a progress system that is impossible to see, but you basically need to win a significant amount of battles otherwise progress is never made and the front never moves. It's basically the same old issue where winning an offensive battle, then losing an offensive battle results in zero progress.
Economies are broken depending on the nation you play. My game as belgium saw no such issues. Any poorer nation and things seem to go terribly.
