hi , i started a new game with Colombia , and after like 30 years i produce everything my pops need , and all my goods are more or less balanced in demand and offer , even the basics ressources , then my economy is kind of stuck after a GDP boom from 1.2 millions to 10 millions and i'm slowly going broke ...i try to export but the roads are rarely profitable and its hard to export a lot of goods since they usually ask no more than 5 goods
doesnt seem that was happening in my last games before the patch , i was building and building and always had shortage of something

Yes, I can tell. Was looking for someone with the exact same problem. Played as Brasil with the new patch and had nearly all goods in balance or offer was even higher than demand. Thought I could evolve to export-nation but only wood was useful. New economy system is kinda broken. Got very high demand of steel, build a factory, nobody wanted to work there - like wtf.

New jobseeker system makes it even worse.
AI can't handle the new patch at all. Every nation is like 200 - 300 % weaker than before. Finished my game as Brasil at #6 in GDP, the highest SoL in the world and literacy was like 80 %.
Population is horrible atm, it is a goal to reach 35 million population with Brasil. I had the best migration in the whole world + lvl 4 of health care (public).. well only got 26 million at 1936 while US having round about 60 million. I remember having a 200 million population run with USA with 1.4

well im not sure what to say besides make sure you have a low peasant population because they actually consume 10% less of what most pops do meaning they wont consume more so you’ll need to industrialise more, also seriously don’t worry about your exports being profitable or not as long as you are creating a demand for a good it will increase the profitability of the manufacturer of said good to the point that it will make up for it. even if its only 5 goods just trade as much of it to as many random countries but try and declare an interest to china and start selling off your goods to them because generally they take in more of your goods.

also it’s just hit me now one of your export issues sounds like a lack of convoys, if you want to have higher levels of trade you’ll need around 200 excess convoys

There are some things wrong. In addition to demand/production overproduction/underconsumption the is a thing... IN the late game (or maybe after a certain production threshhold) the ai cant handle the jobseekers. Doesent matter if u haave high demand, low demand, qualifications and so on. Same goes for the ai. So its definetly something wrong with the system.
